Another network backed onto 3. That includes iDMobile and this now. A quick google shows that Shebang (?) is also 3 based, but EE by far has the most. Is this a new market for 3 after acquiring the extra network space? It knows it'll have capacity later on down the road?
Steam - ReapedYou - Feel free to add me!!
"In the UK FreedomPop will be using data carried by the Three network." - I really do hope Three are adding additional capacity with all these new MVNOs jumping on board...
Am I reading this right ?¿
FreedomPop will provide a data only SIM card that comes bundled with a Skype like app to make/receive voip calls and text messages ?¿
Hmmm.
This lot have what a casual perusal suggests is, IMHO, at least one of the worst, if not the worst, privacy policy I've ever seen. Basically, they go after ever item of personal information they can get, directly or indirectly, and share it with whomever they feel like, world-wide.
I wouldn't touch this under any circumstances.
Yeah from what I've seen they seem to gather more data than google lol
Also for me three is a no go, can't get a decent signal where I live.

tldr; they'll sell share everything they know about you to third parties
OVIVO mobile anyone ?
Not to hand. But if you go to their website, there's a link at the bottom of the page.
It basically says they'll be collecting all sorts of information, from home and mobile phone number, to your salary level and how many kids you have, and using it to "provide you" with servuces, etc, by thenselves and third-party partners. It also sats the information may be transferred to other countries.
It'll be no shock to many that I'm more .... sensitive .... to that sort of, well, abuse of privacy, than many but that policy amounts to giving them carte blanche to do what they want with your data. Personally, no way in hell would I agree to that, even if they offered me free and unlimited voice and data until the Sun explodes. YMMV.
PS. Sorry, DDY, just noticed you gave the link. Thanks.
Thats my worry too. I almost got burnt badly by OVIVO as I would have lost my number of 10+ years. Thankfully they did release PAK codes but it could have been pretty nasty. Its a shame as this looks just the sort of deal I'm looking for (with a data boost) however I don't like the idea of having no actual phone minutes so I'm going to pass for now.
