Why are manufacturers consistently screwing up the basics when it comes to gaming laptops.

4K but 48hz and 970M GPU so you won't be able to game at max resolution, and turning down the res for higher FPS doesn't matter because 48 is the max you can see!
SSD but only 128gb...so what, 2 decent games on it after windows is on it.

A QHD panel, ideally 120/144hz but 60hz would be fine, would be ideal at this screen size, you really don't need 4K on such a tiny screen. Plus that'd be cheaper, and the GPU would power it just fine, and the money saved could go to a bloomin' proper SSD!

I like MSI products a lot but why do they get such a simple thing as an inadequate SSD so wrong? And why do they make it so difficult for a purchaser to upgrade it? They need to take a leaf out of Lenovo's philosophy where my ThinkPad has available to download a very comprehensive mod manual which makes upgrading almost every internal component a doddle.
