Any chance of an image of the underside of the board? I'm wondering how densely packed the underside is considering how much ASRock have managed to cram on top.

I think you unfairly hobbled the CPU and board performance with that heatsink, although it's included, realistically it's no better than the stock HSF, if that, and certainly nowhere in the range of the D15. You should have also tested it with a Corsair H80i or some such, which is about equally matched.
The board uses a non-conventional mounting system which is why the testing was done with the provided HSF. The usual test setup would have been used if the mounting allowed for it, you need some kind of custom bracket to mount most coolers, which isn't provided. At least that;'s my understanding
I would like another review once there are sine 3rd party heatsinks out. Impressive board and would work well in my ML07 and GTX 980
To expensive and too noisy for me but nice to see the ITX envelope being pushed.
The water cooling bracket works with the H80i and H100i
Linus Tech tips did a build vlog which is pretty incredible.
Amazing bit of kit, but the price to build is a killer.
There are Narrow ILM (the mounting is not non-standard, it's just a standard rarely seen on consumer boards) mounting plates for all Asetek coolers. AMD mountings will also work with the zip-tie method.
If the rumours of Broadwell not being a significant boost to CPU performance (with most of the power budget going to Iris Pro) bear out, I'm torn between a i7-4790k for singe-threaded performance, or the Xeon E5-1650v3 for similar overclocking performance (the E5-16xx series are unlocked. Only rhe E5-26xx series are locked) and an extra two physical cores. The deciding factor would be on how much of a difference the extra cores make in actual DX12 performance rather than benchmarks.

There aren't MANY coolers for Narrow ILM which are low-noise (Xeon means rackmount means NO UPPER NOISE LIMIT)
Here are a few I found:
Noctua NH-U12DX i4
Noctua NH-U9DX i4
Noctua NH-D9DX i4
most modern Asetek AIO coolers, with the 35-150-2000034 retention clip linked above by edzieba (supposedly only low-profile pumps are supported by the clip, and the 570LC is the only one I could find that trumpeted that detail - but every post-775 clip also says it needs that, so I expect any pump built for modern sockets is fine)
It's part of the package and as ASRock clearly intend you to use that heatsink it should be reviewed as such, possibly also adding data for another solution rather than replacing . Otherwise it's like reviewing a new graphics card after changing it to a custom water block rather than how it came out of the box.
