    LG launches AMD FreeSync compatible 27-inch 4K IPS monitor

    Released without fanfare in Australia for AU$799 (US$615, GBP£400).

    Interesting if it's any good.....freesync, 4k and IPS for £400....

    Plus Australia seem to get even more ripped off than us Brits when it comes to tech........

    The specs look good, but they've not put much effort into the aesthetic design have they?!

    Personally I've been a little disappointed with FreeSync so far, IIRC the lowest supported refresh rate from any FreeSync monitor so far has been 30FPS/Hz.

    I think I would be more interested in a 1440p version. I don't see me buying 4K any time soon, my PC just can't make that many pixels per second so the overall upgrade cost would be just too high.

    Compared to some LG or Samsung monitors this looks quite simple.

    Looks like VESA mount is possible - alot of the FreeSync monitors don't have this.
