Been a long time since Antec made a case worthy of considering compared to the competition. The likes of Corsair really did steal the lime light from Antec.
To be fair, the only optical solution listed on the Antec product home page is the slimline port, and there's no mention, at all, of 5.25" bays.
Either way, I still don't care for the look. It's obviously aimed at water coolers, which is out of my area of interest - I much prefer the original 900 style of case.
I like the look of the case but can't understand that storage column with 5.25" bays, the Define S got it right by removing that completely and made room for HDDs at the rear.
An interesting case but I prefer the Fractal Design Define S, much better suited to extreme watercooling or even air cooling with its unobstructed airflow.
Fond memories of my old P150 and P180 cases, both offered nice little solutions for good performance whilst remaining quiet and an aesthetic that really appealed.
However, the game has moved on, and this doesn't seem to have moved on far at all.
The lack of full size optical drive really is not a concern for me personally, losing the slimline drive would also be fine - an external drive to use for both desktop and laptop use when required makes more sense to me considering how infrequently it would be put into service. I'd lose 3.5" drive support at the same time and shrink the case down.
I'm all about itx cases for me at the moment, unless your serious water cooling enthusiast with a bank of hard drives I see no point in adding to a saturated full tower market.
