A bit different, which is normally good. Deepcool are proving to be a pretty interesting company!
Steam - ReapedYou - Feel free to add me!!
They're cool for displays in conventions and perhaps a LAN party or similar, but for everyday use I don't think these will work. Both cases will allow especially the graphics card to suck in as much dust as they want. You'll probably have to take apart your card every couple of months to clean up the heatsink from all the dust.
Quite like the look of these, hopefully they will follow the aggressive pricing they have used on other products.
Really like my Deepcool Lucifer cooler but they seem to have disappeared at the price I got mine for.
I want both them cases!
The first one just frightens me with the airflow potential problems but the second one looks really cool (no pun intended)
eh.... more marketing rubbish... it's just a box with a perspex 'lid' rather than a perspex panel.
Until someone moves the power ports on a gpu to a lower position these concepts will always be ruined by the need to see power cables
Look really cool, they should design a Micro ATX version with an SLI/CrossFire pci raiser, that will look really good
These are fun. I like the second case but requires some serious modding work. Main problem, as LSG501 has pointed out, is the GPU power cables. I think I have seen on one forum an idea of rigid, almost metallic, cables that could be bent into interesting shapes - they might work here. Maybe couple it with serious custom watercooling using chromed rigid tubing?
One cool feature would be to have the led lighting linked to case or cpu temperatures so it gradually turned red as it got hotter
Kudos for Deepcool for genuine outside the box (sorry!) thinking
Heatsink outside could be kind of fun, don't want to look at the GPU to be honest.
For a steampunk look, radiator outside
Edit to add: Do companies not care about electrical emissions regulations any more?
