Should point out that this is basically that's been used in OLED screens for over five years in the form of Super AMOLED.
I'm getting so BORED of technology becoming thinner and thinner... To me, that just means 'easier to snap' and it feels awful. My HP 620 laptop from work is a bit like that - Simply opening the lid makes it flex quite alarmingly!!
especially when 'thinner' usually means smaller batteries too, the only reason these super thin laptops/phones are ok on battery life is due to some serious work by intel/arm. Everyone seems to be spending all their time on making things thinner but most users actually want more battery life lol
