Interesting that they didn't extend the backplate right to the end of the cooler, it doesn't bother me but I can see it putting off others.
Also the cards 'launch' next Tuesday, based on the Fury X 'launch' I expect we can expect the cards in buyers hands by 2020?
depends on how quickly you can refresh the site and click on buy :-) i expect it to be sold out quite quickly.. i'm hmming and haaing about jumping on it straight away, i wanna see benchmarks and reviews against the 980 before i jump tbh.Originally Posted by [DW
also, the 'gap' at the end isn't so bad i guess, it still provides air over the extended fins of the heatsink but also provides at least some airflow upwards towards the cpu instead of blocking and diverting it. a nice wee thing i must say, wonder how that will affect cpu/memory cooling compared to my normal gcard :O

When are both DP 1.3 and HDMI 2.0 going to become standard on GFX cards?

I like the design for the heat sink. If I had one of theses, and turned my CPU cooler to face the top of my case, I would have the two hottest components blowing heat directly at a pair of fans.
looking at the box screenshots on another site and noticing that it says it comes with a dp->dvi for france only.. does this mean we have to get an adaptor ourselves in uk? anyone have suggestions? i'd hate to buy it and realise i need to wait a few extra days to get adaptors to get the darn thing to work.
Goes to show how energy inefficient the Fuji core is. No matter how much space is saved with HBM the standard air cooling solution required mean the cards are just the same size.
