Never mind all that rubbish, I didn't know they partner with Audi to produce the audio chip. Or why...

    Small typo!

It's not to solve any issue, just a feature

Its legacy support. If and when BIOS issues prevent USB compatibility with input devices, the PS2 becomes the one you revert to, as it works in the absence of USB. So hang onto that good old PS2 keyboard. It may come in handy one day.

Whilst true, thats not why its on this board. As Kal said this is about latency as PS2 is a hardware interrupt rather than being dependant on a polling rate.

Re: MSI releases the X99 GODLIKE GAMING motherboard

As it happens, I had to use a PS2 keyboard yesterday to repair my wife's machine. For some reason an updated Intel SATA driver had failed to install correctly, leaving the PC unbootable. Neither her gaming USB keyboard, nor my Logitech would work to access the "Last known good" boot menu. An old Genius PS2 keyboard came to the rescue. This was on a nice Gigabyte Z77 series motherboard, so no more then about 2-3yr old.

Hopefully you'll compare the door hanger with the competition's offerings when you get one for an in-depth review.

That's a a waste of a review, my ROG door hanger is way better, there's just no comparison, all that glorious red and black
