    And its a good way to shift inventory before a potential Surface Pro 4 launch... That will be on my Xmas list funds permitting :-)

    Does a 10% discount, however welcome, really warrant a news article? We're not talking about massive savings here, this is the sort of discount you should routinely be bartering for...

    I saved around £400 on my Surface Pro 3, i5 - 8gb/256gb by buying from a company that imported it's stock from the States, and that was in February.

    Thermal throttling makes the faster models a bit pointless doesn't it?

    Yeah that's what stopped me getting a SP3 I stayed with the SP2, but I was gutted because I really wanted that thinner device. I'm hoping they find a better solution with the SP4 and Skylake chips.
