I'll take the 8" with a 1280x800 display, 2GB of RAM, and an active stylus - thanks!

What do you reckon Hexus, can you wangle a competition with Dell?

I'll take the 8" with 4GB of ram, 1920x1200 (odd, sure that isn't 1080p) display, LTE and active stylus

It would be a great little note taking device in my opinion.

No, it isn't 1080p, but they can probably get away with calling it FHD because it can provide a 1:1 pixel mapping for 1080p....

Re: Dell Venue 8 and 10 Pro updates bristling with next-gen features

I've got a Venue 11 pro referb with built in 3g that cost me £140 all in. That has an atom and 2gb of ram and I much prefer it to my old surface pro 2 that cost me 4 times as much. Obviously there is a difference in performance on some tasks but I was only using the device for browsing etc at which it excels and the battery lasts forever :-). Far better than an ipad or android table in my opinion. I don't know if I can post where I got it from on the forums but a quick search of hotdeals should bring it up if anyone is interested.
