What does it matter now if men believe or no?
What is to come will come. And soon you too will stand aside,
To murmur in pity that my words were true

I'm sure we've heard (or maybe suggested?) this one before. MS are trying to compete with Apple in the phone/tablet space. Acquiring Nokia got them control in one, AMD might help with the other. Of course, they might be after ARM...

On the console front, it would make perfect sense.. Microsoft would be winning from PS4 and Wii sales too. The US authorities also don't like foreign buyers of US firms, so I didn't believe the Samsung potentially buying AMD story a while ago.
One problem won't the x86 licence be invalid if AMD Sells at all? Or is it just fine if they sell off certain divisions?
Like I wrote in a comment for the Fudzilla article (and which has currently mysteriously disappeared).
Don't know if you can take that article seriously in any way..."From late 2015 and through most of 2016 the business has been rubbish."
Am I the only one immediately stumbling over this? Either this article is from the future or someone didn't even care to edit it before unleashing it on the unsuspecting public.
I hope SAMSUNG will buy AMD not intel or the windows boyz.....what happened to Nokia is that MS messed the quality of Lumia products, nowadays they are hazzy and low qwal
You do know we are roughly half way through financial year 2016 right?"From late 2015 and through most of 2016 the business has been rubbish."

Yep, seems like they do follow calender:

In which case Fud is just mistaken, which is hardly anything new, but a typo doesn't reflect on the specific article (just usual quality of articles perhaps).
Would be rather amusing after so many years of hearing the phrase WINTEL
