Since when does $129.99 become €149? Even with 20% sales tax added on, at current rates, it is €139. Typical US company greed again. Looks a nice keyboard tho
"Don't mention the war!"
I don't really like these keyboards that look like they've come off the bridge of the Star Trek Enterprise. Much prefer cleaner, more premium looking keyboards - like the Corsair K70
Damn that looks good
Starship Enterprise, if you please...
That would be the Saitek Cyborg V7, anyway - Looks like it belongs on the 1701-D!!
But what are Logitech playing at, lately?
They go make a great gaming keyboard like the G19... but now just seem unsure whether they want to rip off MadCatz-Saitek or rip off Roccat!!
That would fit my desk perfectly and go with my logitech mouse.
I'm with you on the greed and the skewed European prices (whether they are in EUR or GBP), but Logitech is and always has been a Swiss company. More shame on them for screwing us over.
Apart from that I don't quite like the looks of the keyboard so I wouldn't be in the market for one anyway.
I really like Logitechs G710+ so much I bought a 2nd in case my main one died in the future. Exceptionally good to type with and really good to game with. A very good all rounder and couldn't now go back to non mechanical.
However from what I've read/watched about the Romer keys I'm not convinced it would be a good all rounder. I get the feeling it will be very good for gaming but not typing partly due to the design of the key shapes. Also unlike cherry mx switches where there is a choice of switch types it seems there's only one choice with the Romer G. It is lucky the G710+ is mx brown but I think Logitech should offer some more choice with their key types. It is a slight shame that Cherry decided to give exclusivity of RGB to Corsair as I think it's stumped the market a little.
