Why is the PS2 port still there and why are the audio jacks not coloured?

I still have a Dell AT101W - One of the best mechanical keyboards I've ever use, it has a PS2 connector.

If you know about how these ports work you will know that USB works on a polling based mechanism where the USB ports are polled regularly looking for keypresses, whereas PS2 works on interrupt level, so your keypresses are immediately registered.
