Phew, Good thing my GTX 970 has 3.5GB
Any idea when these new games will start using DirectX 12? considering everyone i know now has Windows 10 why not?
Following the reviews I'll be picking up Syndicate after skipping Unity - the first game in the series I haven't actually purchased.
Whilst I'm too cynical to think Ubi's profit slump is anything to do with the Unity farce, I think they absolutely deserved that profit hit and hope that it's a lesson to them in some way.

Because if they use Vulkan then they can target Windows 7, 8 and Linux users as well giving them a far larger user base? As a skill set for padding out your CV, in a world where most mobile phones and tablets will be running Vulkan that is a better skill to have. TBH I can't see why any sane person would want DX12, which probably means the marketing types will insist on it
Nice I should run this ok myself but I'm still on black flag, need to get a move on I think lol
Hope, my GTX 780 will do the work
I got this on the recent Nvidia Blades or Bullets promotion (Siege looked good, but I haven't got enough friends to enjoy it..)
Preloaded on uplay, the trailers seem quite good. Fingers crossed it won't be a disgusting mess like recent AC titles.
3GB seems about right looking at the textures. I haven't been able to get GTAV much over 4Gb with everything cranked to the absolute maximum.
I jsut hope this installment is better than the last few.
I went through the first mission last night with the Day 1 patch installed, it was a little bit glitchy but not as bad as Unity.
Main things I noticed were the odd 3d positioning of objects (without spoiling it, the very first NPC you come across is holding some sort of stick that is floating about a foot away from his hands)
And the good old jittery dead guys that will have a rapid seizure if they land unusually. But that's probably expected for anything using ragdoll physics these days.
I've quite enjoyed it so far, looks great, plays well and 100% of the eyes have stayed in heads.
