    Intel expands Xeon processor D-1500 family, adds 8 SKUs

    Also intros new Intel Ethernet Controllers, for better performance and bandwidth.

    Interesting, 16 threads in a 35/45W TDP...

    Supermicro have motherboards with the 45W version: http://www.supermicro.co.uk/products/motherboard/Xeon/D/X10SDV-F.cfm

    Scary good value in fact. And you can get them even cheaper than that.

    The Xeon D is an absolute beast of a chip. AnandTech did an article on it a few weeks back, the way it performed was scary
