Ooooh, I have no need but for £4 it looks good, for doing, erm, something, maybe...
How does this compare to the recent models of the normal Pi then? Would a single core be ok with HD content (I imagine not)
Edit:
Upton says, the Zero will provide somewhere between the raw power of the original Pi and its second generation.
It says that core functionality remains the same, so it should be OK. Tempted to get the magazine. I too want one, but can't think of any possible use for one, other than tinkering.
The only thing it is missing is some form of connectivity. But for £4 for the board, and a little more for adaptors and cases, you can have a full system.
I wish they could have fitted at least bluetooth on board (for connected IoT stuff), but maybe that will have to wait for someone to make a combo USB hub/BT/wifi/ethernet board that can be stacked underneath.
I'm off to WHSmiths on lunch to see if they have any, might pick up a couple if anyone wants one and cant get hold of it?
Edit: bah, everywhere sold out already!
I'm after one to finally make use of this thing I bought to make into a media player! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Official-Son.../dp/B00GOZ7Z58

^Nice idea Rob!
Trouble with this is, no ethernet.
As someone who owns the RPiB+ and RPi2, using wifi for playing videos on the Pi isn't good enough, ethernet is by far the better option.
I've had the mini PS4 for ages but the older Pi's were slightly, slighty too big
Whats good enough for media? I don't have a vast collection of stuff and it's not encoded to unreasonably high size. I was thinking of a 64GB SD card and load it up with stuff rather than streaming.
Seems it's sold out online too so can't buy it that way either, will maybe let the dust settle and see how people get on, adding bluetooth/wifi/SD is all I really need to do so it should be cheap assuming the dongles I have are compatible.
Picked up a couple of copies in WH Smith an hour ago. No idea what I'll do with them but I'll have fun figuring it out!
An Atlantean Triumvirate, Ghosts of the Past, The Centre Cannot Hold
The Pillars of Britain, Foundations of the Reich, Cracks in the Pillars.
My books are available here for Amazon Kindle. Feedback always welcome!
There were another three copies left. If you want one then let me know and I'll get one for the price of the mag plus postage.

Very tempted, but I reckon the lack of ethernet might be a deal breaker. I still fancy one of the larger models.
Really? It's just like you are expecting a baby and got twins instead..
C.H.I.P(another $8 computer) looks all the same or may be better(have 4GB of Nand Storage onboard) then Raspberry pi zero..
Here is the project http://getchip.com/ and here is their kickstarter page https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1598272670/chip-the-worlds-first-9-computer/updates
I am getting both !! Nice.
CAT-THE-FIFTH (30-11-2015)
Can't beat the vast customer base and support for the Pi though.
