Not surprising however looking at that list I've only played one of the titles (world of tanks). Not sure what that says about my gaming habits but I'd still rather have a good single player than a multiplayer...
Probably only because companies like EA have been crucified for some of their IAP offerings in the last year.

Never even heard of 2 and 3, and isn't 6 super old? Makes you wonder how accurate those numbers are.
Larger market, or market containing stupid people who pay over the odds for everything.
I'd say a bit of both really.
Never heard of 3 of them, only played the beta of CS:GO briefly as I got given a key otherwise not played any of them at all. Would give GTA V a go on the PS4 if I had more time, had plenty of fun with the previous ones.
I've hit 30, but I'm beginning to think it's a generational thing where people are okay with spending their weekly pocket money on virtual treats rather than actual sweets?
...and they said the PC was dead. NEVER!
CrossFire? Wow, I honestly thought that game was dead. Also never heard of Lineage or Maplestory. I wonder if these revenues include esports events and twitch. I guess not as CSGO and Dota would probably be far higher if that were the case.
AFAIK the games most people haven't heard of (2, 3, 7) mainly have a presences in the Asian markets and i would guess that's where a lot of Lineage I is still being played, although that's more an educated guess than first hand experience.
According to the ever trustworthy Wikipedia, Lineage 1 had made $1.3bn by August 2012 and $1.8bn by November 2013, despite giving up on the American market in 2011, so 2015 takings of $0.3bn don't seem that unlikely.
I can beat that - I've played none of that top ten list. Although a recent Steam sale on GTA V was very tempting - but then I remembered I'd only got 40GB left on the "apps" drive, so I passed on it. (Just got a larger replacement drive, so I'll be looking for a new GTA V price..)
I'll second that - not sure about the IAP's in the sports related EA titles, but the level of IAPage in that Simpons game is utterly shocking. Without reaching for your wallet then the amount of grind required to progress is just ridiculous. On the other hand the IAP's in Plants v's Zombies 2 isn't that bad (imho) since they just enhance the game play rather than speed it up by some huge amount.
Apparently the PC is dead though!!! Yeah right.....
Pc masterrace still!
