It's almost like a Project Ara for PCs.

But Project Ara was PC-component-modularity for phones!

I love the surface and love this trail of thought with computers, but can't help but feel if Microsoft was really serious about the whole build / customise to your liking they wouldn't be forcing customers who want more RAM to have to pay a fortune for a giant HD and the most espensive CPu too like they do with their current price schemes!

Maybe I am just bitter as I have hear in America complete customisation is possible, but in UK the prices are more and I can't fully customise everything!
