    How about
2016 is set to be the year when the likes of Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and the HTC Vive Pre take VR mainstream. For starters

Those are VR headsets, not AR headsets. From my limited knowledge the Oculus/HTC/PVR don't have AR functionality - at least not out of the box.

The Meta2 is the only other main stream AR headset I'm aware of, other than the Holo Lens.

HTC Vive could - It has a front camera so you don't walk into stuff, so all it needs to do is superimpose AR over your camera view and you're sorted.
