The S7 is already IP-68 according to the spec page on the Samsung webpage (which, I'll add looks awful - too much scrolling required), so the focus will have to be on ruggedness unless they can think of something else. After debating whether to go S7 or G5, I've decided that I am probably going for the S7. What is swaying me is the IP-68 as I try to spend as much time as I can snowboarding and sometime it gets wet enough that the moisture gets inside the pockets. But this will also depends on whether extended battery makers will make a battery case for it (partly negating the need for removable battery). An S7 Active would be even better, but it seems to much of a niche product to attract the attention of extended battery makers.
some are already complaining of S7 battery performance
I have an S7 Edge, battery life is fine for me - and I am a very heavy user
Coming from a 7000Mah ZeroLemon, I am not sure if I am willing to go back for a battery half the size. Even IF the S7 and current Android has gotten more efficient to my ancient S3 and Android build, I somehow doubt that they managed to double the efficiency across the board (kudos if they have).
