"An Historic Collaboration" How do AMD not know how to use the indefinite article - it should be "A Historic Collaboration". The "H" is not silent and doesn't sound like a vowel! It doesn't make any sense! *Rant over*

Notably fixes have come to address various Crossfire configurations, stuttering, and flickering issues in The Division and Hitman.
Thank god for that! Will test that their claims later.

    http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/words/a-historic-event-or-an-historic-event

Maybe AMD wrote the press release in the 18th or 19th Centuries.

However, it appears that "an historic" is used very often, about 1/3 of the rate of "A historic". http://grammarist.com/usage/an-historic/

Maybe it was written by an older British person, as use of "an historic" was level up intil the 80s: http://www.betterwritingskills.com/tip-w005.html

My secondary school English teacher would probably have written it like that, she put it down to biblical teachings stringing along the old usage and quoted "My brother Esau is an hairy man" as an example. Perhaps that still colours how the Americans write.

Amusing that obsolete grammar is more interesting than a driver release and/or Thunderbolt

    That is pretty hilarious. XD

On topic, I think velcro-stripping a Skull Canyon to the side of the Razer Core could be my next "desktop" setup.

Remember that ZOTAC PC announced a while back?

    http://hexus.net/tech/news/systems/91178-zotac-claims-most-powerful-mini-pc-title-magnus-en980/

I want that, but stripped down to I/O and just the Laptop 980, with a Thunderbolt port out on front. Put it in the same type of form factor as the Skull Canyon and you've got a much more portable eGPU for laptops, or smoosh it to a Skull Canyon if you'd prefer.

AMD that driver update is garbage. Running The Division with crossfire on causes PC to just reboot itself when launching the game. Cheers.

I still don't see the point in a desktop with an external GPU - why not just fit it all in one box?
