Just read about it on IGN, every change they are making I can get behind, which is rare for these games. Super excited
Another generation of being nuked by Gandhi.
I play Civ V in phases, and have just finished playing it for around a month; Steam says I have put in over 350 hours so far. It was also probably the last game I bought at release on full price; I even wrote a review for it for Hexus!

However, I only played Beyond Earth during a Steam free weekend. I think most people will agree that when it comes to Civ games now, it is worth waiting for at least the first major expansion to drop before buying now. I will at least be waiting to see what deals there are on it during the Xmas Sale, if any.
That music with Sean Bean voice over just made me think it was an advert for O2 lol
I'm still struggling to beat Civ 3 on regent, but that's mostly down to a lack of patience for finer detail.
Graphically it doesn't look any better than the previous Civ game. Still waiting for a decent reboot of Alpha Centauri.
I have noticed that the price is £50 on Steam, and even though I would still probably get a decent value for money at that price, I will wait until it has been reduced.
I still have Civ 5 installed awaiting my time grr. Can't they delay this one for 10 more years so I can get round to Civ 5 first?
Since I got a laptop allowing me to play on the go, I've doubled my Civ V playtime since December (hundreds and hundreds of hours...)
Oops.
