"Corsair says it can spin them faster for the same RPM"
Really? so it can spin faster while going at the same RPM.....
clever stuff then ...
Good old nine fingered George.
This dude needs to work on his spiel in front of the camera.
I like the RGB fans!
would love to swap these in for my existing corsair led fans but there is no purple
i was wondering if anyone got the hd120 fans. if so are they any good?
Much of the noise is air flow generated at high speeds, rather than frictional noise from the bearings. However, they might be a bit quieter at low speeds, and from the video, they imply that they can be run at lower speeds than conventional fans - but it seems to be more of a gimmick than a genuine improvement. I'd like to see an objective and independent test. Glad they do them in black....

My broadband speed - 750 Meganibbles/minute
They're quieter than SP120s... but then so is my 1200cc motorcycle!!
They're nice enough and offer perfectly good results, but I'd still choose Vardars for performance or Noctua for hush.
i never wanted to buy any noctua stuff after they ignored my email
Really cool, look forward to seeing noise & temp benchmarks.
Just don't understand why they'd make an LED version of their top-of-line fans without using RGB LEDs.
i asked them if they could send me the fan clip for the noctue cpu heatsink. they asked for my invoice and i sent them the invoice. after that no reply whatsoever
ive bought those fan they only thing i dont like is the fan cant be controlled by motherboard. only controlled by a controller from corsair
