Re: More than 7 million people worldwide now play Overwatch

I keep seeing the "Play of the Match" captures on Reddit and cannot work out what the heck is supposed to be going on. Worry I'll be the same in-game (much like I am with a lot of things these days).

Re: More than 7 million people worldwide now play Overwatch

It's only a half decent game with a lot of polish. Blizzard's huge marketing budget and various gaming website contracts have made it so people feel they must be missing out if they are not playing. For example Eurogamer has been pumping out an article on the game (or more) literally every single day since launch.

I found the game OK but nothing special, because the maps are small it feels like CoD with superheroes. After playing in the beta I decided I wouldn't buy it.

That's a very well put together and thought out response as to why the game isn't worth buying. Whats up, not very good at the game?

Personally, I love the game, nothing better than getting a group of 6 mates together and trying to come up with stupid player comps to try winning, such as 5 Winstons and 1 Lucio

GfK is one of the largest market research companies in the world. Hardly surprising that they publish game sales charts.

I guess the popularity is why it's ridiculously expensive for a pc game.
