Impressive! And much cheaper than Asus for better performance. Nice. I do have to pull you up on this though: "Only play at 1080p? You're wasting money with a GTX 1080." That's just not true. 60Hz gaming is horrible once you've got the higher refresh rate bug. I can't go back now, it was the major source of frustration for years when LCDs came in, and now that we're there, I don't want to see us going back to 30 r 60fps nonsense!
the ichills are always super impressive, I just worry about buying such an expensive product from a company i never heard of. would rather get an Asus or Evga or Gigabyte and suffer a little (cost wise, and performance wise) in order to know it is in safe hands.
My main concern when buying a graphics card is the quality of the warranty. I've heard horror stories about just about all the major manufacturers, with the exception of EVGA. I definitely wouldn't relish the idea of sending an Inno3D card back to Hong Kong for an RMA.
I had a good experience with Gigabyte and ebuyer - I know - surprising !
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.
They used to have a bad RMA rep. My experience was excellent though.

How come GTA V is no longer benchmarked ? Everyone bloody owns it, and it's a great way for current owners to see how they measure up
Regarding 1080p - I still game at 1080p/60 even with high end cards because some games struggle to maintain 60fps on 980ti with all the eye candy turned on (The Division, Witcher 3, I'm looking at you). If a game easily holds 60fps, then the DSR resolution scaling allows for much higher image quality / reduced pixel-crawl / better AA on a 1080p display. I'm playing the new Sherlock Holmes game at DSR-4k scaled back to 1080p and it cleans up the visuals noticably (much less "shimmer") compared to running it at native 1080p. Indeed, getting smoother DSR-4k performance makes these cards really interesting, although in truth I think we're still at least one more generation of cards away from smooth single-card 4k gaming (depending on game). Indeed, by the time those appear, games will probably have moved the goalposts again!
Does this card have a backplate?
Waiting to see results for the x4 version. 900 series Inno3D was amazing.
soo biiiggg
