Recently started saving for the rx480.
Now I'll have to save for a Zen processor and a compatible mobo.
Steam summer sale is around the corner.
And I'll buy the next Zelda.
My wallet is shaking as I write this comment.

Its looking more and more likely my future is Zen.
Even if it doesn't take the absolute top spot if it offers close at a much better price its a no brainer.
I will say I do a lot of video editing and nearly did get an 8350 instead of the 3570k for the price it would have been better for the video editing but due to the poor IPC gaming was so far behind in some cases so the 3570k got the place.
AMD is definitely making all the right moves so far! First the 480 and now this, it looks like pure AMD building is making a come back.
Will someone please explain to me what playing Doom on a system that includes a Zen CPU is supposed to say about the Zen CPU?
They have a functional prototype, with no wood screws in sight!
I really hope they do well with their new lines of CPU's and GPU's.
As much as competition is sorely needed, I don't think the consumer trust will be there for AMD in terms of drivers, support, optimisation etc. Unfortunate situation for everyone involved except intel.
