I have to say that with regards to the overclocking.....is that it?
I'm truly shocked.
I got a Gigabyte GTX1080 Founder edition literally yesterday and it's running +200 core and +500 memory. Giving 2100 boost clock and 5500 memory. Ontop of that after an hour of running Unigene valley on a lopp at max settings @ 2k it was only hitting 80c.
If you are only getting +95/505 on this something is wrong surely.
Plasmastorm makes a good point, that should be addressed.
Also, I have to say, I've been a fan and user of EVGA cards for a long time, but IMO these shrouds look horrible. Also can't help thinking all those little cut out areas would end up becoming major dust gathering places in the long term.

I'm a bit frustrated by Hexus, you keep overclocking each of these cards without giving us the overclocked results of the other after market 1080 cards.
This has been done for the last 2-3 1080 reviews and it annoying that you don't post these results as well so we know how each card's overclock fairs against the other.
Surprised that the Firestrike Ultra score is so low when overclocked,5700~, my two 970's get 5220.
There still isn't a single card available that is anything other than a sideways move for my 970SLi setup.
When does the next gen of Nvidia cards Launch? maybe finally then there will be a single card that's double the performance, I certainly won't upgrade for anything less than a doubling of performance.

I want to see how this differs if at all, but what i like about Zotac is the 5 Years Warranty. EVGA has'nt really changed/pushed any limits leaving me disappointed.
120% power profile via msi afterburner. I tried the same with EVGA Precision X but was running slightly slower in benching.Are you running any increased voltage though?
The gpu boost is handling the power curve and fan profile is stock.

Imo overclocking results shouldn't be part of a review at all. Because everyone has different results, and there's always an unlucky customer that gets a card that can't overclock at all. Especially since review samples can be cherry-picked by the companies. I'm not saying they shouldn't be reported at all, but definitely not as part of a review, because it's supposed to give an idea what people will definitely get.

The overclock score is hugely sample specific, and that's why it comes near the end of a review as simply additional information. Those of you who put a lot of stock in this page will likely find that our overclock, based on a sample of exactly one, may not be representative of what you get.
Out-of-the-box performance, however, is a better indicator of where the card(s) perform in a real-world environment.

Fair point and I agree, think after so many years of seeing OC results in reviews folks (including me) forget how specific to the card you get out of the box it can really be.
On that note however, I was getting 1911 core boost out of the box which was more than stated ON the box. Even box figures seem a bit fishy these days.
My previous MSI R9 390 says 1060 core on the box for example, however it's really only 1040 unless you run MSI afterburner which auto clocks it to the stated 1060. Something the box does not mention !
One thing you haven't touched on is the cooler. Whilst 3 of them share the "ACX 3.0" design, the SC model has two 90mm fans whilst the FTW and the Kingpin have dual 100mm.
