I think I'll wait for the competition to heat up and some prices to drop. Not to mention the fact that I'm eagerly awaiting the reviews.

interested as the GTX 1070 looks like the obvious upgrade from the 970, and I'm still doubtful over Crossfire and SLI - perhaps a single card is the way to go...

Its an impressive card for £200, but while as you say US to Europe/UK prices are never an exact science, I've been pretty disappointed with the prices we've been receiving. May well be an early adopters tax though while supply of chips is short, who knows. I'd like to buy a 1070 or 490, but won't be at the current pricepoints (not that we know the 490's yet).

Oh the joys of of an open feedback system...as far as I'm concerned if you haven't bought the item then you shouldn't be able to leave feedback for the item. And as for being able to leave feedback for something that hasn't been released well don't get me started.
Of course I'm perfect you just need to lower your expectations.

I think they may have taken that page down for the time being (at least, I can't find it)...

Yes, it's gone for me too.
All the Amazon links I added now seem to have been deactivated.

    Well HDMI 2.0 is only good for 4K@60Hz, whereas DP 1.3/1.4 is capable of 4K at up to 144Hz, or 8K (7680 x 4320) @ 60Hz. So, I think 1 x HDMI 2.0 and 3 x DP 1.3/1.4 is a far better selection of interfaces

If a DP+ port can do HDMI 2.0 using the correct (and cheap) passive adaptor or cable, then I really don't see a problem with that.

Re: XFX RX 480 Radeon graphics cards listed on Amazon UK

Cheapest cards on the site are $239.99, so £178.97 + VAT according to google so £214.76 all in. Shame about the exchange rates, but the amazon prices were reasonable.

Getting bored of waiting for this release now!
