So want one!! Probably not going to be cheap I expect!!
Love the look but can't afford Nvidia's new offerings.Just seem to be catering to the enthusiast.
I'm inclined to agree. I was hoping to get a 1070 thinking they'd take the old 970 price point but they're about 400 quid. Can't justify that, but maybe the 1060 might be OK (if the rumours are right). Will have to wait for some reviews.
Same as above, was going to buy into the 70 series this generation if they stuck to the 970 pricepoint, but the way they were talking about the 1060, sounds like even that won't be at a great pricepoint. We shall see.
RIP Nano.
Also looking to upgrade from a 970 to a 1070, but thinking at £400 it probably makes more sense than 2 x RX 480's or either a 980ti or SLI with another 970... I still think a single card is a better solution
But she's a sexy little thing ! With curves in all the right places............. droool.
No wonder Nvidia stock is has been soaring (aswell as the 1 sided gpu situation) the have been on 28nm for how many years, in that time prices have gone up, but costs have gone down = profits EXPONENTIAL
Now these new cards unopposed offering little more (relatively speaking as the market has been stagnant for so long) so more profit from new node + even more profit from mid tier priced at close to upper tier = F*** the world profit.
Nvidia will soon be up their with Apple, etc for cash (even though it is completely undeserved) I can't believe all these solicitors have not started any kind of action against them, they're usually s*** hot. More than enough lies and dare I say, fraudulent claims / behaviour from Nvidia
And no, believe it or not, I am not an AMD fan boy (really disapointed - REALLY)
Are we even gonna bother hyping Zen?
Nice but it's going to be over priced, and it looks way too tall to fit my case.
This is the perfect card for me IMO. Living in the US, the price point isn't going to be so bad. RIP GBP.
They basically handed the mid-range to AMD. They're not even trying to hit £200.
That would make one wonderful high end mini-itx system.
Slap a waterblock on it and the CPU and I wonder how small a package you get it all into? a 180x180 mm radiator would be enough to cool it.
I look forward to seeing better modders than I go for the small and beautiful
Why should they reach for the £200 line when people are WILLINGLY spending far more than they should? Suckers the lot of us.
