Doesn't it have Fairfight anti-cheat, like BF4? Fairfight seems to keep the majority of hackers at bay...

I don't know about the software tools, all I know is that it's not even subtle.

Quite tempted to pick this up, just a shame there's no offline single player story as that's what I'd be interested in.

Same here. Not big on online FPS games myself. Single player would be nice.

its the lack of offline mode and the cost of the season pass that has priced it out of the market for me, but then again it seems the way often with Origin games that there DLC content is really overpriced would normally wait for a cheap bundle deal but with online based one this can then cause a loss in gameplay as you arrive to late

It is EA, it is not worth it, it is a betrayal towards the original SWBF games and the genre in general.
