"“four times better than competitive glass designs,” - Which can mean anything. Either way the phone screen will still smash, they'll still make a load of money, all the while planning the new version, to make even more money.

It survives a 1.6 meter fall 80 percent of the time? Is it me or does that percent seem fairly low? I guess that's alright for a device without a case on it, but it doesn't seem smart to go without 3rd party protection yet.

Surviving ~60% more impact energy is quite impressive, that's a big improvement. I wouldn't consider that good enough to trust a naked phone, but it's a lot more improvement than we're seeing in anything else in the phone
Despite the marketing, from practical use, I barely see a tangible difference between the various version.
When it falls badly, most of the times it ends scratched or worse.
Sounds promising, but like the post above, will be keen to see if it makes a difference in the real world.
If they could make it so they don't attract finger marks, in would be happy.
And even if it so good. I will still put a screen protector on it.
