Pinball Fantasies! Sadly no Tiny Troops, Cannon Fodder, Uropa 2 or any of the Valhalla series.

Looks like Pinball Fantasies is just a demo (and a fair few of the others as well).

Looking forward to going through this, the JS emulator they are using must be good

    That's seriously impressive!

It is slightly bizzare how much folk are charging for Amigas on ebay though! Wonder if I still actually have ours kicking around.

Alot of demo only games. Tried Lemmings 2, Xenon 2 and few others.
Sounds also seems to break up alot.

    But damn fun

Re: Internet Archive adds 10,000 playable Amiga games

Hmm, Sidewinder doesn't run for me, and darned sticky keys keeps trying to "help" when I gave Xenon2 a go. Maybe a proper emulator is the answer. Shame that so many appear to be demos only.

Funnily enough I got rid of my old A2000 earlier in the year, but I did keep the ROMs (on a switcher board) in case I wanted to go the emulator route. And I've still got quite a few games in the loft so I guess I can use the game images legally too.

Career status: still enjoying my new career in DevOps, but it's keeping me busy...

Re: Internet Archive adds 10,000 playable Amiga games

That accelerator is for the Amiga 600 only, bear that in mind and is quite expensive currently.

Ideally you need 2 Amigas, a 1200 for the AGA stuff and WHDLoad from a hard drive (Compact Flash), this will need an accelerator. You will also ideally need either a 500 with the expansion up to 1Mb or a 600 if you are wanting top play older stuff from discs.

I tend to use discs still and then use ReloKick to downgrade to kick 1.3 on my 600, there are quite a few games that won't work on the 1200 even with relokick

Tried Elite, ran pretty crappy on my computer, but failed at the first hurdle, I don't speak German

Other game I remember from the Amiga was Lotus Challenge, but that's not on there
