I'm pretty sure the R9 M470X isn't Polaris - pretty much every google result I've pulled up says it's Bonnaire. AFAIK when Polaris hits laptops it'll be using the same branding as the desktop cards.
Was actually considering the Alpha R2 for a friend, then I noticed the M470X is only the 2Gb RAM variant...seriously?!
Thanks for the info CAT, i thought you Mobile variants of the 400 series were meant to be on/near similar performance levels to the desktop counterparts?
I was talking about the RX460. The mobile RX460 is quite close to the desktop ones:

That rebranding of graphic cards is one thing. Taking it even further to GPU chips as well, makes it all a bit more confusing me thinks.
I really like the look and design of the Alienware desktops cases. I think Dell could make some money selling bare bones systems and cases.
Dunno why but the Area 51's design actually appeals to me.
