If you have a older model stay away from these drivers and revert back to the oldest you can find in my case 353.30.
I actually would like to go back even further but win 10 x64 is a pain in the behind when you do want to install non signed drivers..
It actually forces you install the newer ones .. yes i know if you do alot of changes in the system you can get them working ... but will you do that each time you have to reinstall ( i bet most say NOPE ).

Why should we? The only reason I'd downgrade my nv drivers would be to get CUDA accelerated video transcoding back, but the last driver supporting that (337.88) is absolutely ancient. Nothing you'd want on a productive system.

it's probably another of the conspirasists that are convinced that nVidia degrade performance of older cards in newer drivers, even though their data is always based on new games (that take advantage of newer features), not older ones.

Well.. they did actually ruin the 700 series' performance when the 900s got popular (noticed that myself with the 760 in my secondary PC) ... but so far I haven't noticed the same for the 900 vs. 1000 series... yet :shrugs:

Why, what is so life-destroyingly broken now?
I keep hearing about all these broken Nvidia drivers that kill your system, sell yoru granny and so on... never had a single problem.
