Maybe it was the battery life indicator that was shortening the battery life ?

Hahahaha this is such an Apple way of dealing with a complaint.

"fix it? nah, remove battery estimate indicator"
Because the plebs don't have watches, clocks, smartphones or any other way of measuring how long their laptop lasted before needing its charger plugged in... so now they won't know, unless maybe they have a sundial... but it's Winter in the northern hemisphere so problem averted for 3 months!
