In a perfect world it would happen, but i just feel we would be seen as hungry mouths to feed and more leisure time means more time for babys lol

So i am guessing robot maintenance will be the new jobs created by the wonder of robots and massively improving AI? imagine all the jobs they will eventually be able to do i.e. waiter, taxi, FLT, and train driver, cleaner, maybe even mechanic.
loads of different jobs gone forever, but i guess people would have to be paid to monitor them but eventually they would be able to monitor and repair each other.

Do we worry too much about technology, when all technology is just a tool that we've created that we use for good or evil (usually the whole spectrum in between simultaneously, somehow)? Rationally, we ought to be able to marvel at the progress of technology rather than fear it, and instead focus on promoting the good uses and protecting from the bad ones.

It seems inevitable that the more useful/powerful a technology is, the more dangerous the potential misuse is. Granted, the Boston Dynamics robots are well on their way to being worryingly useful!

It seems inevitable that the more useful/powerful a technology is, the more dangerous the potential misuse is. Granted, the Boston Dynamics robots are well on their way to being worryingly useful!

A very good way to word it, i guess yes every tool can be used for beneficial or nefarious reasons take nuclear weapons as an example they have helped keep the peace and nuclear power plants power a lot off homes now.

But Hirashima, Nagasaki, Sellafield, Chernobyl and Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster show two sides of the coin.
