"Category Defying" == "We have no idea who would want to buy this"?

A little cynical perhaps, but I'm not entirely sure what you can do to make a PC anything more than a PC? More details required, I guess, but I'm not going to hold my breath....

Am i the only one who thinks that the model guy from poster is doing it wrong?
dear model, First, head supporter should support your head not the upper back.
Second, lay you arms on the arm supporters.
Third, this monitor is not VR headset... can you realy see the screen ?

    Are they bringing back BTX?

Joking aside, as scaryjim has said, not enough info to go on at this time. The short depth and what may be ventilation slats at the top remind me of some of the Silverstone FTs with vertically orientated mobo mounts. If it is laptop internals, it'll be in the bin before too long.

See I read "category defying" as "budget defying". It could be a bit like that proof of concept modular PC Razer came up with the other year.

Re: Corsair One "category defying PC" teased

I'm guessing that the real-world translation of the marketing hyperbole will turn out to be:

BATTLE = gaming performance of a high-end gaming laptop
EXPLORE = you can use it for web browsing
CREATE = it looks a tiny bit like a Mac Pro (the giant coke can thingy) and will run photoshop

"I want to be young and wild, then I want to be middle aged and rich, then I want to be old and annoy people by pretending that I'm deaf..."

I love all the blue lights. As for the rest, it will be a wait and see for me.
