What ever happened to EVGA Kingpin edition gfx card, they totally discontinued new versions of those?
I think they realised nobody particularly cares for this kingpin character
Also, these extreme overclocking records seem a bit lame to me.
If you can afford the very best premium kit, and all that coolant, then anybody can compete - there doesn't seem to be much skill rather than trial & error, and the luck of getting stable parts.
Kingpin has now OCed a GTX 1080Ti to beyond 3GHz.
While I'm sure there is some skill involved (and possible making custom things to hold the LN² etc.), most of this does seem to involve a large element of pay to win.
But then so do a lot of the overpriced gaming and overclocking motherboards etc. PC Master Race problem rather than the old fashioned overclocking where someone took a £40 board and a £50 CPU and clocked them to the performance of a £200+ part.
