So it's basically gone back to the price it was prior to the 'brexit' increases and it's still more than currency conversion + vat...yes I know there's shipping but most come to UK direct from manufacturer so shipping is roughly same as to US in most cases.
Headphone jack!? What is this? 2015 or something?

I love Apples absolute lack of imagination when it comes to naming xD
Other than weight gain, faster processor and larger battery, this doesn't sound tempting enough to upgrade from my Air 2, which still has plenty of kick on it.
From what I've heard the panel on the new iPad 9.7" should actually be a downgrade. Maybe other stuff too.
Also, expect hordes of young girls to flourish their new red iPhone, as it is sure to be another must-have accessory.
You wouldn't replace an Air 2 with this new model. You just wouldn't do it. P.s. The Air 2 has a really nice screen compared to the Air 1 so I've no idea what Apple's doing here.
I was under the impression that Apple only sold premium items. Steve would NOT have agreed to this.
A straight $ to £ conversion was always a sorry state, but things are really going down hill when the dollar price is lower than the GBP price.
20% - that's pretty high. And for most of the last 5 months the £:$ exchange has been below 1.25 - so you multiply the $ price by 1.2, then divide it by less than 1.25... you get pretty close to a 1:1 conversion (remembering that the 20% I quoted above is only VAT, and doesn't cover any import duties, shipping costs etc, which may be higher into the UK than into the US< depending on where the products are being shipped from...)
