Shallow gameplay, jetpack and grenade fest, dumb vehicle system.

Fun, quick, amazing sound design but ultimately shallow and short lived.

If the single play campaign is good then I will be interested, however not interested in the £55 price tag

I liked it. The only problem was the mahoosive amount of cheating, and the extremely hard contracts to get better weapons.
Visually and aurally excellent with some nice big maps.

Single player was quite good. Probably not worth 55 though
Society's to blame,
Or possibly Atari.

Re: EA announces Star Wars Battlefront II November release

I quite enjoyed it, only fail was the console port of the game by this I mean the lack of adjustment of controls for keyboard. I couldn't change hardly any of the keys to customise my character abilities !
Would also like to see this locked to 1st person rather than toggle between 3rd & 1st though I can't see this happening.
The worst part of this game for me is the vehicle controls for flying, its like its on some wired axis? If you master it you can wipe out loads of ground infantry. Sadly not for most.....
There are Standard (£54.99) and Deluxe (£69.99) editions
That's a massive jump from the "standard" pricing model. Good luck to those who pay that price, I'm not prepared to pay that for a PC game.

It has a single player campaign. Well I might get it when it's on sale then, because there is no way I'm paying £55.

Re: EA announces Star Wars Battlefront II November release

I might get it on sale also with there being a campaign this time, however even if this game turns out to be fantastic with lots of MP content, I am not paying full price for it after getting robbed when buying the last one, which to me, felt like half a game or a large beta test.

CDKeys.co.uk have this for a reasonable price whilst the pre-order date is far away, if you're thinking of getting it then get in quick. I'm a massive Star Wars fan so it's an insta-buy for me.
