Quite a intresting write up over on PCgamer about these fans if anyone is intrested, apprantly plastic grows to much to use in these fans over time hence the fact they are made of liquid polymer from the same family as Kevlar, apparently it costs 4x as much to produce though so gonna be expensive.

But still costing Noctua prices, suggesting it was built for quality rather than with the aim of keeping the price as low as possible.
Like most manufactuiring and engineering, China can either build good stuff, or cheap stuff. They can't do both.

Re: Noctua talks about its products and prototypes from Computex

The only gripe I have with Noctua is their colour scheme, but at the same time, it makes their stuff most distinguishable. That being said my PC is very utilitarian and has no window so you cannot see any of the Noctua fans in it.
