    $599? Maybe get that cash and buy an MSI/Gigabyte/Asus/Alienware gaming rig as you're going to buy a laptop anyway (Or already have one that sucks at gaming).

    Seriously... Tech is really overpriced these days.

    You realise a GTX 1070 by itself is $420, right? The price is pretty incredible compared to its competitors.

    Also the point of it is so you can get a thinner and lighter laptop without a GPU. Based on a quick search you could get similar performance overall for about £100 less using this.

    Bare in mind Thunderbolt 3 is through the chipset, so incurs a performance drop over to the CPU like Alienwares. The other option appearing is the mini-PCIE/express card adapters, but they are pretty sketchy, not heard how good they are.

    Good looking it isn't. IMHO they should've flipped it 90 degrees. Might look better.
