It's confirmed elsewhere: the UK gets the PAL hardware design, with the US game list (e.g. Contra 3, not Super Probotector)

The European version is so much better looking than the north american version.

The European version was modeled on the original Japanese Super Famicom. Agreed, the US version is ugly by comparison.

Here's the Japanese press release. The machine selling in Japan will have a slightly different games list, with titles like Panel de Pon, The Legend of the Mystical Ninja, and Super Soccer.

That's a great game list however that price is just to high for me considering my second hand 'new model' 3ds xl was similar money (and can run snes games). Just a shame nintendo have not released more of these snes games for the 3ds. They just don't seem keen on making money... It will still sell out i'm sure.
    Trust

    Laptop : Dell Inspiron 1545 with Ryzen 5500u, 16gb and 256 NVMe, Windows 11.

Still missing some of my favourites, like Pilot Wings, Killer Instinct and NBA Jam.

No Chrono Trigger, no Secret of Mana 2, no Tales of Phantasia, no Star Ocean. For that price I would have expected more. I'll leave it to the fanboys to buy all the 100 units they produce <_<

Microsoft owns all the rights to KI now. If you want to play it, buy Rare Replay for Xbox One.
