    Ahh got it now ! ... it's a hard drive and not something forginers loose when getting off the back of trucks

    What a stupid name for a hard drive or storage solution?.

    "My Passport" has been a Western Digital brand name for portable drives for some years. I believe the rationale was the freedom to increase storage simply through the USB interface.

    This is just the latest in a long line.

    Yeah I had a Passport since 40gb was the norm for external hard drives. I've just repurposed a 60gb one we had lying around!

    This looks good and not a bad price either (for an external SSD I mean - obviously a 1TB HDD is half the price). Kudos for the USB-C connector with adapter too - the more USB-C is pushed the better.
