I've always been a fan of cheap ASUS laptops, so it's interesting to see what they can do with their higher-end laptop.

Unlike their cheap counterparts (HP battery always died after a year, Lenovo terrible build quality) the ASUS's just keep on going. Even refurbished ASUS laptops proved far more reliable at work (a school, so cheap mattered). Cracking value for money at that end of the market in my experience.

I've got a mid-range HP laptop for basic Blender modelling away from my PC, but the only reason I didn't buy a 13-14" Zenbook was that ASUS always insisted on on combining the cursor keys with the page up/page down/home/end buttons, so it's good to see that has been fixed in the 15" version here.

Nice to see a viable alternative to the Dell XPS.

I assume the Dell XPS 15 is soon to get a new makeover with the latest Intel chip launches coming up ?
