REVIEW: Tomorrow the full HEXUS review of this shiny new gaming laptop from Gigabyte will be published.
Go Gigabyte. Go crush Razer blagymped.
Is this overkill, or just "future proofing"?
I find (on my desktop) that my 1060 is great for 1440p gaming.
No harm in having some spare headroom i guess, except that you would be paying extra for it at purchase time, with presumably worse thermals and battery life also (compared to a 1060).
As a side note, reviews of laptops seem to either favour 1080p screens with high refresh, generally over 4k screens with lower refresh rates... however what about 1440p gaming?
A quick google search comes up with an Aorus (??) but thats about it.... surely gaming laptops should be offered this option? Especially with a 1070 being a reasonable option?
