Before buying from Scan check their small print as they do have a naughty re-stocking fee. They aren't Amazon! Plus they will ignore what you state. (Found this out when trying to return a defective, at that time, DJI Mavic Pro)

Perhaps CoolerMaster should just do a version 4 of the CM690 which still seems one of their best value/quality cases.

    Re: Cooler Master MasterCase H500P

It may not be the best looking case around but it isn't the worst.

what I do I like is how thoughtful they have been with making it very practical to work with (at least with air coolers and AIO's anyway), the ability to create a push/pull at the front for a radiator is very nice also, not sure I've seen that before in all honesty (well at least not designed for it from the outset anyway).

it does have one of my favourite features - no hideous giant mesh top panel, I like this or the p7c1's approach. Shame that is is just so damn ugly.

    Re: Cooler Master MasterCase H500P

Seems CoolerMaster got inspired by Lian Li's PC-P50 (and Lian-Li's sub brand LanCool's PC-K62). Both of these cases are quite a bit better looking though.

    Re: Cooler Master MasterCase H500P

When I saw this case covered at the shows a few months back I was kind of interested by the vertical GPU mount.. but that I worked out that using it means no SLI...

How these companies miss key use cases is quite beyond me :-)

I actually quite like it. I'm not 8 though, so the RGB lights would have to stay switched off.

    Re: Cooler Master MasterCase H500P

I don't get the fascination with looking into your computer case. Maybe it's just me, but my cases have always been on the floor, under the desk. Why I would want to duck under my desk to view the flashy flashy or, what cooler I have installed, for the hundredth time, I just don't know. Maybe it's my age, but the lights would be turned off and, as long as it works, I wouldn't be looking at the gubbins, just my screen.

There can be appeal when a build is coordinated and tidy, but I don't see the need for millions of colours when such a build looks best under just one consistently. Though like you I would not feel the need for it to be lit up constantly. Really more for other people than myself.

    Re: Cooler Master MasterCase H500P

As I thought the lack of HDD space hurts it very much. I agree it's a but fugly. CM just needs a new champion of the HAF 932 or HAF X. Better dust filters more HDD space for the Mid tower. So far I'm not liking the choses from these case makers. I thought the mastercase maker series would work but again lack of HDD storage.

looks great, I'm still going with the original HAF so considering this vs. new tempered Corsair vs. 600c inverse
