How does Hexus know it's a Vega 56 killer? Are you privvy to secret info or is that just hype on Nvidia's behalf?
Guesses based on specs

If something is/was broke it was probably me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Well at current prices Vega56 has killed itself,so the GTX1070TI sounds a bit of a redundant SKU!!

i believe in latest msi afterburner update the 1070 Ti is pretty much confirmed as there is an actual reference to it - could be mistake but doubtful as you'd not add as option unless it was reality
Maybe I am getting old but spending an extra $50 of GTX1070 for such a product is a waste of your money the same thing goes for the Gtx1080, is it justifiable to spend extra $220 for a few increase in fps? The gap between 1070 and 1080 is way too high. Nvidia, intel and AMD are not our friends they will look for all possible means to get that money from you.
so, this is just an overclocked 1070 then looking at those specs.
Looks like an interesting card for Ethereum mining, given the 1080 is handicapped by GDDR5X, and this has GDDR5-non-X with nearly all the compute power still intact...
I have an Asus 1070 OC....sweet card...Ti will be that much better...AMD killer
This is spot on really.
We're nearing the backend of October and I can't see any aftermarket vegas anywhere. Stock ones yeah but c'mon I gave up waiting a while a go and got a 1080.
Nvidia don't even need to do this the way it's gone and the prices vegas are at. Seems like a bit of salt rubbing, guess I can't blame them.
Grab that. Get that. Check it out. Bring that here. Grab anything useful. Take anything good.
