Ive really enjoyed the campaign - its a return to form imo and is a great interactive movie. Thats what I expected and what I got, so i'm happy. It's not particularly clever, not at all difficult, and you are guided every step of the way..but i've enjoyed that about the recent COD games really. Zombies is also really fun and one of the best of the recent COD iterations, even in solo mode..
Multiplayer however is still utter dross. It's simply awful there is no other (polite) way to put it. It's the same death simulator that they have had for the past few generations and just isn't fun in any way at all. Still has tiny maps, broken spawning, huge RNG factor and ultimately its just very, very boring. I can't think of a worse multiplayer mode in any recent game (other than the other CODs since MWF2)
This is definitely a "rent" or buy on sale game - not one you want to buy and keep!

Glad to hear the single player campaign is good. I'll save this for my >£10 list as loot box multiplayer is of zero interest to me. Did the same with COD:IW/COD:AW and really enjoyed the campaigns even if they where a little predictable.
Will get it for the single player when the price is a bit better

I'm out. Looks like the same made out of template campaign meant to be add on to money grabing multiplayer. It goes like this: Drama, drama, holywood fx, cringe, drama, cringe. All this with a minimum input from a player. Had too many of them in the last decade. boring. I would rather replay Doom/Shadow Warrior/Wolfenstein/Bulletstorm than wast ~8h of my life (even for free?!)
